The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum to discuss new and emerging general-purpose purpose programming environments and platforms, as well as evaluate applications that have been able to harness the horsepower provided by these platforms. This year’s work is particularly interested on new heterogeneous GPU platforms.
The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, the National Institute for Computational Sciences and Georgia Tech will present an OpenACC GPU programming workshop on October 16 and 17.

The National Center for Supercomputing Applications’ Blue Waters and the Extreme Science and Engineering Discovery Environment (XSEDE) projects are hosting the annual Extreme Scaling Workshop on July 15-16, 2012, in Chicago.
The scope of the workshop includes both fundamental algorithmic problems involving massive data, as well as algorithms for more specialized problems in, e.g., graphics, databases, statistics and bioinformatics.
