Intel releases SDK for OpenCL Applications 2013 Beta

| 7 August, 2012

Intel just released new Intel SDK for OpenCL Applications 2013 Beta. This new beta SDK now supports Windows 8 and is compatible with the latest Intel HD Graphics driver for Windows 8. It also includes new tools such as a new kernel builder and GNU Debugger (GDB) support which ease the creation of OpenCL applications.

The Intel® SDK for OpenCL Applications 2013 Beta release provides a comprehensive development environment for OpenCL applications on Intel® Architecture for Windows and Linux operating systems. This beta software release introduces a CPU only runtime package with OpenCL 1.2 features support. When installed on computers with 3rd Generation Intel® Core processors with Intel® HD Graphics on Windows OS, this non-conformant OpenCL 1.2 CPU device works in a platform mixed mode with the conformant OpenCL 1.1 device available with the Intel HD Graphics 4000/2500.
